Hi! I'm Alex, a PhD Scholar and Research Officer at the Australian National University’s School of Regulation and Global Governance.

I'm a Global Governance scholar researching the interactions and implications of regulatory instruments.

My research focuses on the intersection of trade regulation and socioeconomic/sustainable development. I'm interested in how trade agreements affect developing countries' capacity to design public policy and how emerging forms of domestic regulation affect global governance.

I'm currently convening an undergraduate course on Human Rights at the Australian National University.

I'm an interdisciplinary researcher who studies international political economy, intellectual property rights, trade law, climate change, human rights, sustainability, and mixed-methods research.
